Downing Street, Westminster in the County of Middlesex acting for and on

behalf of The Government of Hong Kong (hereinafter called the Government) of the one part and Francis Arthen Coleman, Beanheir Steter in the wook of the Seven wryfhanneled slauks of the other part

Whereby it is agreed by and between the parties herite as

follows:

The said Francis Arthur Coleman (hereinafter called the person engaged) is hereby

appointed Junior Assistant Lighskeeper

The period of service shall be for Three commencing from the date of arrival in Hong Hong and the person engaged shall observe all the Orders of the Officer under whom he may be placed and shall devote the whole of his time and attention to the service of the Government and shall uve his utmost exertions to promote the interests of the Government and shall not either directly or indirectly engage or be concerned in

any

other

service or business whatsoever or receive commissions

of any

kind. -

The Salary to be paid to the person engaged shall be at the rate of Stine hundrets dollars ($900)

per.
